The resort will be connected to the main Trabanta chairlift via a newly built funicular. From here, skiers will be directly linked into Thyon 2000 and the rest of the Four Valleys/Verbier lift infrastructure. From December 2016, the famous Piste de l’Ours between Les Collons and Veysonnaz will benefit form a brand new 8 man gondola to replace the 35 year old 4 man « crate » style system.
Access to La Dixence is easy via Sion (circa 20 minutes) and in total circa 2 hours to Geneva airport. With Swiss Air having announced a trial of direct flights between London City and Sion this winter season, Les Collons will never have been more accessible.
Dixence Resort is a luxurious development comprising apartments, chalets and a spa hotel in this peaceful yet beautiful corner of The Four Valleys. Les Collons sits at an altitude of 1,750m, providing snow sure, ski-in, ski-out access. Designed around the luxury boutique hotel, these exclusive residences will be some of the last delivered in The Four Valleys on a « no rental obligation » basis, following the ratification of the Lex Weber legislation at the beginning of January 2016.
Dixence Resort has been conceived by the same architects as the successful (and now sold out) Mer de Glace scheme in Nendaz. Using classical mountain architecture, traditional materials including distressed wood and locally sourced stone tiles. The interiors maintain a high standard with oak parquet flooring with underfloor heating, fitted wooden kitchens with modern appliances and granite work tops, hand built bathrooms and generous balconies.
Owners will have access to the hotel facilities, including restaurants, après ski bar, swimming pools and natural thermal waters sourced from underground reserves beneath the Dixence Resort site.
These chalets are available to purchase for non-Swiss residents.
